YouTube: NFL’s UK Flag Football Game

Produced in partnership with YouTube and the National Football League, the London edition of the flag football game was conceived as a global cultural moment: blending sport with creator-led entertainment to engage international audiences.

The live event brought together top YouTube creators, NFL talent, and team captains Gunna and Aitch for a high-energy flag football matchup streamed worldwide on YouTube.

I led global production for the social capture of the London event, overseeing the project from early planning through live execution. Working with a distributed, international team, I partnered closely with internal creatives, external production partners, and YouTube and NFL stakeholders to deliver real-time storytelling at scale. To support rapid turnaround, I designed a custom camera-to-cloud workflow that enabled on-the-fly editing and immediate asset delivery for both on-site and remote post teams.

The production operated across two dedicated war rooms (one on-site at the Copper Box Arena, and a second just 3 minutes by foot away), where post-production and community management ran in parallel throughout the live event. From its earliest concept as a few slides in a deck to crossing the pond and executing with a 25+ person team all-in, the project reinforced YouTube’s position as a premium, creator-driven destination for a fast-growing global sport.
